Into the light . . .

Hope, excitement, gratitude ...
A sense of arriving, for something is being fulfilled – or a sense of departing, for new territory is just over the horizon.
These are only a few of the reactions and emotions of members of the two congregations as it is announced that we have a Sole Nominee – Anita – who will preach in both churches on 25th October
(10.30 am in St Andrew’s; 11.45 in Meadowside St Paul’s; seat booking required because of Covid-19 restrictions).
“Depend on prayer; prayer is powerful.” (John Charles Ryle, 1816-1900, former Bishop of Liverpool)
Pray for Anita.
Pray for the congregations.
Paul’s advice to the Thessalonians (1st Letter, 5:15-18): “See to it that no-one pays back wrong for wrong, but always aim at what is best for each other and for all.Always be joyful; pray continually; give thanks whatever happens; for this is what God wills for you in Christ Jesus.”
